Kylie is currently promoting 'Body Language' in the US, already having appeared with Ryan Seacrest and Jimmy Kimmel. At the MusiCares 2004 Person of the Year ceremony, where Sting was being presented a liftetime achievement award - Kylie sang a gorgeous version of 'Every Breath You Take' as a special surprise. Kylie will be at the Grammys later in the week where she is nominated in the Best Dance category.

Next weeks issue of the NME will include a CD which will feature a bonus rare track by Kylie Minogue; it is yet to be confirmed which song this will be! The Japanese version of 'Greatest Hits 1987 - 97' has yet another tracklisting...this time replacing 'Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi' with 'Turn It Into Love'. CD2 of the set also features an exclusive instrumental version of the track.

Kylie is rumoured to perform at the BRITS of February 18th. Kylie will arrive in the UK just in time for the ceremony after she arrives back from her US promotion.

26TH JANUARY 2004

Kylie has announced a performance at the legendary London club G-A-Y. Kylie, who has performed there several times before, will appear there on February 28th - expect a fun fuelled show with exclusive songs. It is expected that she will perform eight tracks, only two of which will be from 'Body Language'. For further details check out www.g-a-y.co.uk. With the premiere of the Jake Nava directed video for 'Red Blooded Woman' earlier this week it has propelled the song in the UK airplay charts becoming the biggest audience gainer rising to #33. Airplay is gaining in the US due to new Mike Rizzo remixes and the existing Chemical Brothers remix.

21ST JANUARY 2004

The Kylie dolls have officially been launched this week with stocks in Argos and Hamley's almost sold out across the UK. There are two to choose from; the first is dressed in the red Dolce and Gabanna mini-dress from the World Music Awards 2002, and the other one wears the silver ensemble from the Fever Tour. Check out www.argos.co.uk to place your order.

'Red Blooded Woman' has become the most added track to radio in Australia this week which bodes well for a top five chart placing. Rumours that the video was shot in LA and has Kylie dancing in a truckyard with two guard dogs and undressing in a car are also circulating. The Narcotic Thrust Mix of the track is also getting some club play around London - look out for those 12" promos soon.

In other news...The Dancestar USA Awards nominations have been announced and 'Slow' has been nominated in the Best Video category. Rumours that tickets will be announced for a world tour in March.

18TH JANUARY 2004

While Kylie and Olivier spent the festive season and the New Year together the rumour mongers have been going mad. Reports that Kylie was pregnant, and that she would be co-presenting this years BRIT Awards were some of the many stories printed in the UK press. On a more positive note 'Slow' moves up to #55 on the Top Chr/Pop 100 and is expected to make its Hot 100 debut very soon as it is the most added song on US radio this week. It also breaks the Top 20 Hot Dance Music/Club Play where it rises six places to #16. 'Body Language' will be released in the US on February 10 to co-incide with the promotional tour Kylie will undertake there.

The release of 'Red Blooded Woman' will include the infamous Chemical Brothers remix of 'Slow' as well as some disco-tastic club remixes. Rumours of a 2004 tour later in the year are as yet unfounded - although keep checking here in case any dates are released. Kylie will promote the new single on various awards shows including the BRITS, NRJ Awards in France, and the Echo Awards in Germany.

20TH DECEMBER 2003

Happy Kylie Khristmas to everyone....some exciting info reported by Sky News. They claim that 'Body Language' is to be remixed to give it a more disco dance feel, in an attempt to boost the average sales. The Taiwanese release of Body Language will include a special 2004 calendar, lyrics and photo booklet, and a bonus VCD with the videos for 'Slow', 'Come Into My World', and 'Love At First Sight' - check your local record shops for imports soon. There are rumours that Kylie will be making a guest appearance on 'Queer Eye For A Straight Guy' when she starts promotion in the US, as well as this there are inklings that she may be performing at the Superbowl intermission. Things look good for the release of 'Slow' in America, three weeks before its release to radio it has broken the Top Chr/Pop 100 entering at #88, while it moves up to #7 on the Dance Aiplay Chart from last weeks #9. The release of 'Body Language' in the States will be a special edition with the UK tracklisting plus bonus tracks 'You Make Me Feel' and 'Cruise Control'. As well as this it will be enhanced with a special live performance of 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' from the Hammersmith show, and the video for 'Slow'.

7TH DECEMBER 2003

Kylie herself has confirmed that 'Red Blooded Woman' will be the second single to be lifted from the new album in a French television interview. The album is selling much less than expected as it drops from #14 to #25 in its third week on the UK charts. Around the time of the release of the single will be the 'Money Can't Buy' DVD which is currently in post-production; it will include the full uncut concert, as well as some bonus material such as interviews and video projections. In America, Kylie gets her second Grammy nomination of her career - she is nominated in the Best Dance category for 'Come Into My World'. Kylie is also shooting up the US Dance Airplay Charts where it has risen 20-17-15-13-11-9 over the past six weeks. Kylie will jet to the US in late January for a couple of weeks of promotion for the release of both the single and the album.

25TH NOVEMBER 2003

Kylie performed a mind blowing show for the Hammersmith Apollo on the 15th of this month. Kylie launched the show re-creating the look from her latest album. There were new tracks from Body Language mixed with old Parlophone tracks like 'Spinning Around' and 'On A Night Like This'. For more information check the reviews and tour sections. 'Body Language' debuted on the UK charts at a slightly disappointing #6, while in Australia it was held off by Delta Goodrem debuting at #2. In Australia the album went 2x Platinum in its first week. Expect the positions to improve this week as a knock on effect of the televising of Money Can't Buy. Don't forget to check out how both 'Slow' and 'Body Language' are doing across the world in our chart positions section.

In Israel a strange promo has cropped up. To promote the 'Greatest Hits 1987-97' out there, a 12" of 'Confide In Me' has been issued with all brand new mixes. The cover consists of the silver sandals from the back image of the album. The tracklisting is:

1. Confide In Me (Tomer G Radio Remake)
2. Confide In Me (Tomer G Club Remake)
3. Confide In Me (Optimus RMX)
4. Confide In Me (Optimus Dub RMX)
5. Confide In Me (Original Album Version)

Don't forget to check out Kylie performing an exclusive album track, 'After Dark', on the launch of this Friday's All New Top Of The Pops.

09TH NOVEMBER 2003

Kylie performed a special remix of 'Slow' at lthe MTV Europe Awards in Edinburgh. Dressed in a sultry black outfit, Kylie writhed on the floor before joining dancers with neon light sabres in a sexy routine. The single looks a dead cert to hit the top spot in the UK singles chart with around 44,000 copies sold. She has already hit #1 in Australia (going Platinum), Poland, and Croatia. In Ireland it is the highest new entry at #5 and looks likely to climb higher next week. In Finland she has her biggest hit there for ages as it makes #3. In the U.S. she moves up to #15 on the Dance Airplay Charts. Just as the first single from 'Body Language' has hit the charts, the second single is strongly rumoured to be 'Chocolate' - with a special performance of it expected at next week's Hammersmith show.

03RD NOVEMBER 2003

Today was Kylie Day on Radio One. Kylie was interviewed by four of the top DJ's throughout the day. She talked candidly about her relationship with Oliver Martinez, the excitement of the release of the new album and single, and how she has decided to stop showing her derriere for a little while. On top of this, she announced that she would be performing 12 songs at the forthcoming Hammersmith concert - six of which will be tracks off the forthcoming albums. It seems that she plans to extend this show and make into a full tour towards the end of 2004.

Reviews of 'Body Language' have started to come in with both Attitude and Q Magazine an extremely respectable 4 stars. Don't forget to check the Press Section soon for full reviews from the magazines.

'Slow' has jumped 18 -10 - 7 on the UK airplay chart, a massive 11 place climb over the past three weeks. The pre-chart figures suggest that Kylie is at #1 by a long way in both the UK and Australia. In the US she debuts at #17 on the Dance Airplay Charts.

22ND OCTOBER 2003

We've just heard two previews of tracks from the forthcoming album. 'Secret (Take You Home)' is a slinky electro/R&B hybrid with Blondie-esque raps and a catchy chorus while 'Hot Blooded Woman' is reminiscent of Justin Timberlake's 'Cry Me A River' with its spooky piano and choir section set against US influenced beats and bassline. The first chart placings for 'Slow' have appeared; in Croatia it has already hit #1, in the UK the track climbs from #25 to #18 on the airplay chart. The remixes of the track have been heating up clubland in the UK as it climbs to #2 on the Cool Cuts Chart. Don't forget to tune in your radio in the UK for the following Kylie exclusives:

08TH OCTOBER 2003

Kylie features on the cover of the November issue of ID Magazine. They describe the forthcoming albums like "Janet Jacksons Control, electro both old and new, and there is a startling mid tempo duet with singer Green Gartside on. Shes frisky with vocal confidence...'Secret' has an 80's hip hop soul chorus from Lisa Lisa. Theres intertextual references to 'Spinning Around' and 'La la la'.'Body Language' is unmistakeably Kylie. Its as catchy as crabs". The article also talks about her working with the Neptunes and how the album isn't R&B, but is quite funky....and how her assistant wants her to perform old PWL classic 'Made In Heaven'.

05TH OCTOBER 2003

Airplay looks good for 'Slow' with it being A-Listed on Radio One straight away, something that very rarely happens. The song itself has divided fans with some saying it is experimental, hypnotic, and the best thing she's ever done; others say it sounds like it has been run up on a Casio keyboard and Kylie's vocals are awful - let us know what you think by mailing us. The first play of the 'Slow' video will be on CD:UK on ITV at 3:20pm - make sure to set your VCR's.

Kylie has been nominated for two ARIAS, the prestigious Australian music awards. She is nominated for Best Female Artist and Best Pop Release for 'Come Into My World'. Don't forget that Kylie will be performing her new single at the 10th Annual European MTV Awards in Edinburgh on November 6th. Although, the 2CD set of 'Greatest Hits 1987-97' has been released in Canada and Poland, it is unlikely that the DVD will get a release, it was pulled at the last moment due to licencing problems.

28TH SEPTEMBER 2003

Kylie hit the headlines again when it was revealed that police are investigating a stalker who has sent her over 700 letters. The letters have been arriving at both her record company and her own home in London. Kylie has denied that the letters included death threats but it is likely that security surrounding her will be beefed up. I think it's important to remember that Kylie is a human being and that fans should respect her privacy; buy her music, see her shows,  but don't invade her personal space.

Again Kylie was featured in the tabloids this time with claims that there will be no promotion for the forthcoming single and album because Kylie is hoping to be pregnant by Oliver Martinez. This is unlikely to be true, as Kylie is a workaholic and will put in 110% in to every project she does. Radio One have announced that they will get the first exclusive play of 'Slow'. The song will be played for the first time on Sara Cox's breakfast show at 8.10am.

26TH SEPTEMBER 2003

EMI/Parlophone have used Kylie's comeback release as an experiment to get single sales up. Both CD's will only feature two or three tracks, which is pretty poor considering fans want more value for their money not less. The b-side to Slow is even worse, as it will actually appear on the album; considering the welath of unreleased tracks for this project you would have thought that Parlophone would have considered one of them for release. There are even rumours that the Chemical Brothers have remixed 'Slow' for club release. Anyway, here is the release tracklisting:

CD1

Slow (Single Mix)/ Slow (Medicine 8 Remix)/ Sweet Music/ Slow (Video)

CD2

Slow (Single Mix)/ Soul On Fire

12"

Slow (Extended Mix)/ (Radio Slave Mix)/ (Synth City Mix)

A new track recorded for the project has been discovered and is possibly being considered as a bonus track for the album; 'Cruise Control' is another production by Johnny Douglas. Also EMI have made slight changes to the album tracklisting, knocking 'Slow Motion' off the end of the album and revealing that 'Promises' and 'Obsession' are actually two seperate tracks, both produced by Johnny Douglas. The 'supposed' final listing for the album is:

  1. Slow (written by Kylie Minogue/ Emiliana Torrini/ Dan Carey ; produced by Emiliana Torrini/ Mr Dan) 3.13

  2. Still Standing (written by Alexis Strum/ Ashton Thomas/ M. Hay ; produced by Johnny Douglas) 3.38

  3. Secret (Take You Home) (writtten by Niomi McLean-Daley/ Lisa Greene/ Reza Safinia/ Lucien George/ Paul George/ Brian George/ Curtis Bedeau/ Gerard Charles/ Hugh Clarke ; produced by Rez for Rezonant Productions; vocal production and mix by Johnny Douglas) 3.15

23RD SEPTEMBER 2003

The video for 'Slow' is currently being shot on location in Barcelona with the director Michael Rooney, who did the 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' video. The video is said to have been filmed in a swimming pool as well as a badminton pitch in the Palau San Jordi area, with Kylie dressed in a purple mini skirt. Fans at the shoot have reported that the track sounds similar to previous recording 'Boy' with the chorus hook being "Dance to me baby, yeah....slow....are you wanting my body, yeah...slow". The title for the new album has also been confirmed as 'Body Language'. Parlophone have confirmed the tracklisting below, and have said that this will be the standard tracklisting throughout the world.

19TH SEPTEMBER 2003

The tracklisting we gave on the 16th September has been denied as 'real' by Parlophone, they say that apart from 'Slow' none of the tracks from the previous listing even made the final cut of the album, but they do exist. The title 'City Games' has also been denied by the record company. News of the 'fake' tracklisting has been picked up by the press and everyone from Capital FM to Ananova have been reporting on it. However, a new tracklisting has been reported on www.kylie.co.uk , it's listed as:

  1. Slow (produced by Emiliana Torrini and Mr Dan)

  3. Chocolate (produced by Johnny Douglas)

16TH SEPTEMBER 2003

Music Week have confirmed that the album is ready for release and that collaborators include Baby Ash, who remixed 'Come Into My World'; Johnny Douglas, who produced 'Disco Down'; and Karen Poole. Miles Leonard, head of A&R at Parlophone, has described the record as taking "Kylie to another level...not only is the production contemporary and innovative but the album is full of great pop songs". The lead single, 'Slow', will get its first airing on radio on 6th October. A tracklisting has surfaced with the following songs:
  1. Slow (written by Kylie Minogue, Emiliana Torrini, and Mr Dan; produced by Emiliana Torrini and Mr Dan)

3RD SEPTEMBER 2003

Parlophone have just announced that Kylie will be releasing a new single on the 3rd of November. The song entitled 'Slow' is co-written by herself and Emiliana Torrini and Mr Dan. Described as being like Britney's 'I'm A Slave 4 U' with breathy vocals, a sexy R&B/dance hybrid sound .The single is the first results of her recent recording session in Dublin.

As well as new single release news, there is a set of song titles rumoured to be the names of the material recorded with Biffco (all co-written by Kylie); some of these will appear on the album 'City Games' (scheduled for release on November 17th), they are:

4TH AUGUST 2003

Kylie was in the scorching sun of the French Riviera yesterday on a photoshoot for what is thought to be the front cover of her new album. With Bardot style make up and big hair, it was a throw back to the SexKylie era of 1991. Kylie wore a variety of outfits from a pleated mini skirt matched with bunches to a black see-through swimsuit. The press had a field day with Kylie's bum once more hitting the front pages.

Pharrell Williams has confirmed to the Herald Sun that the track he is working on with Kylie is called 'Beat U'. The track is said to be a funky dancefloor filler.

On 22nd September BMG/Zomba in Poland will release a compilation called 'Greatest Hits 1987 - 1997'. The tracklisting is the same as the double CD set released in the UK in December, however on CD2 it adds on 'Confide In Me', 'Put Yourself In My Place', 'Did It Again' and 'Breathe'. A DVD/Video will also be released with those tracks added on to the original tracklisting. A new cover for the compilation is included with a photo from the 'Better The Devil You Know' era.

31ST JULY 2003

Kylie has denied that her four month relationship with French actor, Olivier Martinez, is on the rocks. Rumours of an affair with Angelina Jolie on the set of his latest movie have been rife over the past few weeks. The newspapers went into overdrive when Kylie was photographed jetting over to Canada to meet with her boyfriend, the reporters stating 'to patch their relationship up'. Kylie said on her latest trip to Montreal; “Of course I am aware of what had been written in the Press, but this trip was like the previous three I’ve made to Montreal to visit my boyfriend while he’s filming.”  So that's the rumours set straight.

More rumours that Kylie will star in her first movie since Moulin Rouge in 2000. The movie called 'After The Laughter' is set in a retirement home for comedians. Kylie would be starring alongside comic Norman Wisdom and Sylvia Miles who have already signed up to be in the movie. While movie roles are rumoured Kylie's television career took a different angle. Kylie was 'kidnapped' outside her Chelsea home by Channel 4. The stupid stunt was actually a lookalike being filmed for a spoof tv show called 'Pulling Kylie'. The real Kylie slammed the prank saying; "I thought that was a really stupid thing for a TV crew to do. I was really surprised when I heard. I think they did act irresponsibly...I was just pleased with the quick reaction to what happened. I'm very happy that the police were here immediately, as soon as they were called. I would like to praise them for reacting so fast."

Kylie will feature on Aussie singer Ben Lee's forthcoming album. The CD features his tracks covered by different artists. Kylie's track was recorded back in 1999 at the same sessions as when they duetted on the Duran Duran classic 'The Reflex'

10TH JUNE 2003

Today Kylie launched the new longhaul marketing campaign for upmarket airline British Airways. Posing for photographers on a treasure chest and sunlounger against a backdrop of palm trees, the location could easily be mistaken for a tropical beach, instead it was a somewhat overcast Covent Garden. Kylie looked radiant in a pink sundress and killer heels.

Kylie was nominated at this years Dancestar Awards in three categories. 'Love At First Sight' for Best Song, 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' for Best Dance Track, while Fischerspooner won Best Remix for their version of 'Come Into My World'. In other news the DeConstruction re-issues failed to set the charts alight, dropping short of even the top 200 in the UK. The re-issues have been extremely hard to find for fans due to BMG under-estimating demand and shipping extremely low numbers to retail outlets. There are rumours that Kylie is pregnant in this Sunday's tabloids, however these stories are completely unfounded as of yet.

11TH MAY 2003

The re-issue albums have now been put back a week, the new release date is 26th May. There are rumours that a 12" release of 'Confide In Me' may be released to co-incide with the promotion of the albums. In South Africa 'Fever' the single has been released, it rises this week from #24 to #16 where it is getting significant airplay. There are rumours that Kylie will make some sort of appearance on US television, possibly in a bit-part role in Charmed or 24, however these whispers are as yet unfounded.

Exclusive news, on May 12th BMG will be re-releasing both 'Kylie Minogue' and 'Impossible Princess'. They will both be double CD sets, the original album being disc one, the second CD being a collection of remixes and unreleased and rare tracks. The original idea was that the record company were going to release an album of just rare and unreleased tracks called 'All Right Now', this idea has now been scrapped.

Both 'In Your Eyes' and 'Love At First Sight' have been nominated in the PRS Most Performed Work at this years presitigious Ivor Novello Awards. Other news, Kylie is back in London enjoying the sights of the city with boyfriend.

12TH APRIL 2003

All has been pretty quiet on the news front with Kylie relaxing in Australia before going into further sessions for her forthcoming album. It is likely that there will be some sort of release, probably a single, in November. Mushroom have already set aside two catalogue numbers for the formats. Dannii Minogue is apparently writing a track for the album which may become the long-awaited duet.

Kylie is making her debut ballet performance for the Rambert Dance Company. Hello magazine has an article on Kylie swapping her hotpants for a tutu. Kylie's performance will be beamed onto a 30-foot gauze screen while live dancers take to the stage for the performance of 21. The new production will debut in Wales before moving on to Sadlers Wells in London.

Kylie was the most played artist on UK radio in 2002. She managed to knock Robbie Williams off the annual radio airplay charts, he has held the top spot for the past four years. Kylie also features on the cover of this month Glamour magazine in the UK.

20TH MARCH 2003

Kylie has been promoting her new range of Love Kylie underwear across Australia, including a big catwalk session where she appeared in a stunning floral dress with the models in the underwear behind her. Kylie confirmed on one interview in Australia that she had recorded four tracks in Dublin with Stannard and Gallagher as previously reported. She has also said that she will be working on one track with Pharrell Williams but it will be very pop. Kylie is also working on some electro 80's tracks with Curtis Mantronix of 'Got To Have Your Love' fame.

Also Kylie related, Fischerspooner won best remixed track for his work on Come Into My World at the Dancestar USA Awards.

14TH MARCH 2003

Kylie has denied the ludicrous reports that she has written a song in response to James Gooding kiss 'n' tell story last week, but she is however back in the studio. Kylie spent a couple of days last week in Dublin recording some tracks with Stannard and Gallagher who produced and co-wrote 'Please Stay', 'In Your Eyes', and 'Love At First Sight'. While in Dublin she also recorded some tracks with Karen Poole, ex-Alisha's Attic star who also produced three tracks on Dannii's forthcoming album.  Kylie then moved on to Holland to work with the producers behind Euro acts ATC and Milk Inc later on in the week. There are rumours that while Kylie is promoting her new Love Kylie underwear range in Australia this week she may have time to lay down some tracks with some top dance producers.

At a fashion party for Chloe last Thursday Kylie was guest of honour. Held at the Cafe De Flore Kylie sang My Baby Just Cares For Me, Fever, and other jazz classics accompanied by a full jazz band. While in France Kylie took time out to attend a football match and generally take a well earned break from her tight schedule. Kylie has now flown to Australia and her promotional schedule is as follows:

Monday
Melbourne Fashion Festival Love Kylie Launch
6.30pm - Today Tonight (7 network)
9.30 - The Chat Room (7 network)

Tuesday
9.30 - Rove Live (Ten network)

Another little bit of news; a track from the DeConstruction years, 'For All I'm Worth' has begun to see the light of day possibly due to the planned forthcoming All Right Now compilation.

9TH MARCH 2003

Kylie has hit the front pages again of this morning's Sunday newspapers. James Gooding, Kylie's former boyfriend of three years, has sold his story to the News Of The World. The article can be found here. Better news, is that Kylie has apparently confirmed her new relationship with Frenchman Olivier Martinez. They met in an LA hotel a couple of weeks ago and have been seeing each other ever since. Martinez will be fronting the next Giorgio Armani campaign, so obviously he shares a little in common with her ex James who was a model for Hugo Boss.

Kylie has won Best International Breakthrough at the prestigious industry Music Week awards. Despite her originally getting top five successes in the eighties in the US, Music Week thought that enough time had passed between her chart successes for her to be seen as virtually a new artist in the US.
